Now it's time to play!
We drove to Julian (about an hour NE of San Diego) for a taste of Fall. And boy did we find it! It was 48 degrees when we arrived, and it warmed up to 63! That's COLD for us beach bums! We had apple pie, strawberry rubarb pie, apple cider, picked some pumpkins and headed back home. It was a beautiful day and a great time with friends!
Mac, Sarah, Lily, Aidan & Tim at Mom's Pies in Julian. Have you ever had sharp cheddar cheese melted on top of your Apple Pie?? Don't crinkle your nose...we found it that it's YUMMY! Aidan prefers vanilla ice cream with his apple pie!
