Labor Day Weekend

We had so much fun this weekend. We had a lot of time together as a family and enjoyed all of the sights San Diego had to offer!

Friday was Aidan's 4month check up. He's 14lb 6oz, 26 1/4 inches long and 16 inches around his melon. The pediatrician said he's in the 95th percentile for head circumference, and 90th percentile for height. He's only in the 50th percentile for his weight! As you've seen in previous posts, he has started rice cereal. The doctor gave us the go ahead for pureed veggies! WOOHOO! He had his second round of vaccinations and barely cried! He's such a little soldier!

He's HUGE!

Coffee Date with Dad @ Starbucks! Dad likes to take him inside and make all of the Barista Girls swoon!

Fantasy Football Draft- Aidan gave Dad lots of help during his picks! Aidan told him to NOT to pick anyone from the Buffalo Bills team. He's very wise beyond his years!

Dad wanted to take Aidan's stroller off the beaten path and test it's "all terrain" in the Japanese koi pond in Balboa Park!

Same pond, nicer parent! The Botanical Gardens are in the background. Dad got him his very first ball cap- it's from his ala mater- Pitt.

Aidan is running for President- this is his campaign photo. I believe in change....changing my diaper!

Our day at the zoo began like this...

Family Reunion- Aidan and the ape!

Panda @ San Diego Zoo. They don't do anything but sleep- but they draw crowds and people wait in line to see them for hours! Crazy!

Mom & Aidan at Petco Park. The sand sculpture of the ball and glove is in the outfield of the park.

Our day at the zoo ended like this!

Our Labor Day tradition....Homemade Banana Splits!
After eating the delicious treats- we remembered the hippos at the zoo!

Hope you enjoyed your long holiday weekend as much as we did! Next stop- Nashville TN! See you guys soon! XOXO
